Depending on the product and its claims, the formula must undergo an evaluation or be reported to the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety with information supporting its safety and effectiveness.

That higher level of oversight matters to me. I want the products used in my treatment room and recommended for home care to be supported by more than attractive packaging or trending ingredients.
